Creative footwear manufacturing

We feel that THIS is the course that EVERYONE that deals with any kind of footwear development should take, because it will give the biggest advantages for any shoe company. It will help you bring your collection development back to the factory floor, so you understand how you can systematically apply new technologies to increase creativity, quality and sustainability, whilst drastically saving time and cost.

In 5 intensive days we will cover all aspects of the footwear manufacturing process, from last and mould making to upper and sole construction and materials, including knitting. Each morning starts with a compact theory class and then we visit several state-of-the-art factories that you would probably not be able to access otherwise. Each day concludes with creative thinking exercises that help you effectively apply your new manufacturing knowledge to your own collections right away.

After this training, you will be able to find solutions to design challenges that you could have never thought of behind your desk! We have had participants from all levels complete this course, from young designers to experienced factory owners, because it is about learning a new way of "manufacturing thinking", regardless of previous experience. Whenever possible we adjust class content to meet specific needs of our participants.
